Late season, potato that needs full season to achieve it's potential. Oblong shape with blue skin and blue flesh with white ring and some white streaks. This appears to be closely related to River John Blue(Heirloom). I have successfully grown that variety for over 12 years with very good yields. Should be planted no later than the first week of June. They bulk up in the later part of growth. Let plants die before harvesting unless you want smaller potatoes.

Early season, with good yield, and can get large if left to grow. Oblong, smooth red purple skin with creamy white flesh. A good early market potato that will also store well over winter. Plants have noticeably smaller plant growth than other varieties, so don't worry if the plants look small. Selected at Fredericton Research Station N.B. in 1969.
Early - mid season, red skin, white flesh, oval to oblong shape. Good yields, all purpose potato that stores well. Old time favourite from 1957.
