A culinary plant/herb, does well in flower beds as a background plant. Its feathery leaves are good in bouquets. When plants are young they look similar to dill. The feathery copper/bronze foliage has licorice flavour. Used on seafood, vegetables or salads. Tea can be made from the leaves or seeds from this perennial plant. Can be 4-5' in height and will winter over in up to Zone 5.
Plants grow between 4 to 6 feet depending on soil fertility. Dill plants like a nice loamy, sandy soil with good drainage. Dill seed heads can grow to 18 inches across . Use fresh or dried. Will self seed if left on plant.
